you guessed it, day five...

               "Apples and Pears, Up the Stairs"  6 x 8 oil on panel
I did several pear paintings, the shape so lends itself to be painted !
     You know how all those articles on body type ask you if you are apple or pear shaped?  now I think I get it.... ( I'm an apple)

    I like the pairing (no pun intended) of the two in the composition - that it's filling out the canvas, but there's also some negative space. Plus, I love pears.
