I've seen other artists try what looked to me like colored paper strips in their backgrounds and I thought that was such a great idea that I wanted to try it... Thanks to Carol Marine and Claudia Hammer for the cool idea. They are so generous in sharing their expertise that I thought they wouldn't mind if I borrowed this great technique....
