Daily Painting? we'll see...

This is the beginning of a brand-new blog.  After not posting for what seems like "forever" on my roxywiththemoxy site, I decided to begin again.   This blog will be for paintings I've done as a daily exercise (or almost daily) to loosen my painting style.  For those of you familiar with my last series of portraits, you know that they were very realistic, and I had fun painting them, but now want to try and expand my work and create a more painterly style.   My first painting is a 6 x 8 oil on panel called "Cherries Jubilee"... It still is realistic, but I'm just getting started down the road to the looser style.
